Oasis Marinas, a marina management company, announced today that they have been awarded the management contract for Gunpowder Cove Marina located in Joppa, Maryland.
Gunpowder Cove, formerly Joppatowne Marina, is located just north of Baltimore near Bel Air, Maryland. The marina originally opened in 1966 and stands as a full service facility on the Gunpowder River off the Chesapeake Bay. Gunpowder Marina has stood as a premium location for boaters in the area throughout the years and gives boaters easy access to nearby attractions such as Gunpowder Falls State Park, Mariner Point Park, and the Loch Raven Reservoir. Oasis Marinas began management on January 1, 2021 and will oversee the day-to-day slip and marina management activities, boat services, facilities and grounds maintenance, marketing activities, new development, and more at Gunpowder Cove as part of their agreement.
Oasis Marinas was founded by a group of boaters with executive expertise in hospitality and technology who are dedicated to creating a high-quality experience. The Oasis Marinas portfolio is closing on nearly 40 amazing properties, 6,500 wet & dry slips under management, and hundreds of RV pads, spanning from the Northeast, the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac, down to the coast of Florida.

Oasis Marinas at Gunpowder Cove 'formerly known as Joppatowne Marina's offering 1x30 amp shore power, the marina can accommodate vessels up to 40ft with a maximum draft of 5ft in one of their 270 wet slips. The marina also has 300 high/dry racks on site.
