Rocky Point State Park

Rocky Point State Park is both a historical site in Warwick and a great place to get back in touch with nature. The Rocky Point Amusement Park, which was open from the 1840s to 1995, once stood where the park is now. You can still see remnants of the amusement park scattered all throughout the property, although most have been cleared for the park. 

Today, Rocky Point State Park is a great place for picnics, walks, hikes, and other outdoor activities. Or if you just want to meditate amidst nature, this park is a wonderful place to do just that, with an amazing view of the Narragansett Bay to boot. 

Goddard Memorial State Park

If you want to take in more of the natural beauty of Warwick, Goddard Memorial State Park is one of the most beloved metropolitan parks in the city. This place has sprawling lawns, fields, wooded areas, picnic pavilions, equestrian trails, game fields, and plenty of water for swimming and boating. Even a 9-hole golf course!

Morris Farm

Morris Farm is a family-owned 43-acre farm that’s been owned and run by the Morris family since its founding in 1915. It’s a proud source of fresh, locally-grown produce, including livestock like chickens, cows, and horses. The farm sells fresh eggs every morning, beef and milk from their cows, and a plethora of seasonal fruits and vegetables all year-round. They also offer pumpkin picking in the fall, horse rides, and trailer rides for special events, such as birthday parties. It’s a great place to take the kids and even the adults for the day.

Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum

Often touted as a hidden gem of Warwick, the Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum is a cultural and historical landmark that truly stands out even amongst the best of Warwick’s attractions. First built in 1872 as a gift from William Smith Slater to his daughter, Elizabeth Ives Slater, the Victorian-style house remained in the family’s possession and passed from the eldest female daughter to the next. In fact, the house is still being managed today by descendants of the Slaters!

Step right back in time and get lost in the gilded stylings, vintage furnishings, and Victorian-style architecture that makes up the entire 28-acre property. More than tours, the museum also holds annual events, such as their yearly “Whodunnit” evening.
